Personalization & Settings

This page is not just a list of settings. A better way to use it is this: when the page is hard to read, hard to input on, or hard to organize, the matching adjustment is usually here.

Make pages easier to read

Start with these two groups of common settings.

Appearance

In Settings -> Appearance, you can adjust:

  • Theme: automatic, light, or dark
  • Theme color: change the main interface color
  • App icon: switch between icon styles

Text style

In Settings -> Text Style, you can make calculation pages easier to scan:

  • Number size
  • Label size
  • Expression spacing
  • Sync with line spacing
  • Bold text
  • Cursor display

If you often work with long pages, number size and spacing usually make the biggest difference first.

Connection lines and formula highlighting

When a page gets complex, you can also turn on these visual aids:

  • Show connection lines
  • Connection line opacity
  • Show formula highlighting

Formula highlighting

When the equals sign is selected, the formula can be emphasized with a highlight style. Current styles include:

  • Underline
  • Box
  • Circle
  • Highlight background

If you prefer a cleaner page, turn visual aids off. If you need to understand structure more quickly, turn them on.

Match number display to your habits

In Settings -> Number Format, you can set the default way numbers are displayed:

  • Thousands separator
  • Localized number format
  • Maximum decimal places
  • When to use scientific notation

If you mainly work with finance, quotes, or reports, consider turning on both thousands separators and localized number formatting.

Make input feel better

In Settings -> Keyboard and Keyboard Style, you can adjust input-related options:

  • Sound feedback
  • Haptic feedback
  • Keyboard style
  • Keyboard size
  • Keyboard text size
  • Keyboard text weight
  • Keyboard layout
  • Auto hide / show keyboard

If you often type with one hand, start with keyboard layout and keyboard size. If the keyboard blocks the page, try auto hide.

Make page behavior fit your workflow

In Settings -> General, you can adjust how the home screen behaves:

  • Show mascot
  • Expand toolbar by default
  • Auto-center selected number
  • Layout mode
  • Keep formulas on one line (available in Free Layout)
  • Privacy Screen

If you often work with complex pages, pay attention to Layout Mode.

To choose between Vertical Layout and Free Layout, continue to Layout Modes.

Account and sync

In Settings -> Account, you can manage sign-in and sync:

  • Sign in or register
  • View the current email
  • Sign out
  • Turn on auto sync
  • Turn on real-time sync
  • Sync now manually
  • Delete account

Based on the current interface labels, sync features have Pro badges. If you are not signed in, sync options are unavailable.

In Settings -> About, you can view:

  • Version number
  • Terms of Service
  • Privacy Policy
  • Changelog
  • Support email
